Interstate is always looking for Sales Account Representatives with any level of experience to enhance and expand our dynamic Container Division sales teams. Training and development are available for less experienced candidates.

Position Responsibilities:

• Successfully sell and promote the full-line product capabilities of the Interstate sheet and corrugated plants.
• Provide corrugated brown box solutions for the needs of a broad base of customers in manufacturing and varied industries.
• Work closely with plant customer service and manufacturing to solve the service and packaging needs of customers.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers who have both volume and specialty product sales potential, which will meet the profit objectives of IRI plants.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing plans which will ensure the attainment of sale's territory goals and the plants' operating income objectives.
• Always represent the interests and image of Interstate in a professional manner and with the highest ethical standards.
  
  

• At least two years of corrugated product sales experience.
• A Bachelor of Science in Business is highly desired.
• A successful sales record of corrugated products to diverse industry clients.
• Adept to prospecting, cold-calling, and new business development.
• Skilled in selling solutions to complex packaging and design needs of clients is essential.
• A solid technical understanding of the graphics and printing processes utilized in corrugated brown box manufacturing, and the equipment used to produce the broad range of products.
• The successful sales candidate is one who is most professional, aggressive, results-oriented, and one who thrives on the challenge of very competitive corrugated markets.
