 Overview
RB Lumber was established in August 2006 as an affiliate of Interstate Resources, Inc. RBL manufactures southern yellow pine lumber which is marketed throughout the southeastern United States. In addition, RBL provides quality wood chips to our sister company, Interstate Paper, from our state-of-the-art chipmill.
RBL is committed to the promotion and practice of sustainability. We are an active participant in the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
Products & Services
RBL manufactures quality lumber in a high tech small log sawmill located on site in Riceboro. Our primary products are a wide range of small timbers sold primarily to the treating industry. However, we are uniquely positioned to make specialty value-added lumber products upon request.
Our world class chipmill, adjacent to the sawmill, manufactures 75-80 percent of the wood chips consumed by Interstate Paper. Our sister company Newport Timber provides the raw material to manufacture both quality chips and lumber.

Welcome to RB Lumber.
RB Lumber is a privately held combination high tech small log sawmill and world class chipmill. Our unique process allows us to maximize the value from each stem by manufacturing both our lumber and wood chips from pulpwood only.
Our sawmill manufactures high quality lumber primarily sold to treating plants located in the Southeast. However, on site rail service provides opportunity for shipments throughout the U.S. Our chipmill produces quality wood chips for our sister company, Interstate Paper.
